It’s back-to-school time, so get your kids ready for the new term with a fun and educational DIY activity.
Back-to-school often comes with new experiences, and sometimes a bit of stress for children. To make this time more positive, there’s nothing better than a creative game they can make themselves.
This simple DIY involves printing, cutting out, and assembling a paper schoolbag, along with a set of illustrated school supplies.
How to play: • Roll the dice. • Collect the number of supplies shown. • Place them in your schoolbag. • The first player to fill their schoolbag wins!
Colour all the items. On the one printed sheet, the school bag and on the other, the school supplies.
Step 3
Carefully cut around each stationery item to create your paper school supplies.
Step 4
Create a slit at the top of the rectangle on the schoolbag, as shown in the photo.
Step 5
This slit will allow you to slide the school supplies into the bag during the game.
Step 6
Glue the schoolbag onto an A4 sheet. Apply glue only along the sides and bottom, leaving the top open so you can remove the supplies once the game is finished.
Step 7
And that’s it, you’re ready to play! Take turns rolling the dice and filling your schoolbag. The first player to fill their bag wins.
