Ideal for DIY enthusiasts and sports fans, this DIY allows you to develop manual skills while having fun. Easy to make and practical to take on holiday, this mini-basketball game is perfect for organising competitions with family or friends.
How to play?
After you have made your mini game, hang it on the wall. Use a ping-pong ball as a basketball. Depending on the age of the child, position yourself at a greater or lesser distance from the target fixed to the wall. The further away you are, the more difficult the game will be. Each participant is allowed three throws. Write down the points of each on a sheet of paper next to it and add them up at the end to determine the ranking. Have fun!
Using a marker, draw diagonal lines on a cup, as shown in the photo, to create the “basketball hoop” grid.
Step 3
Then trace in the other direction to create the net effect. Do the same thing on the 5 cups, of different colors.
Step 4
Prepare papers of 5 different colors of about 3cm by 5 with the zigzag scissors, as well as white rectangles of paper, smaller, to place inside. Also cut 5 large rectangles of about 5cm by 7cm, to make the support of the baskets, and a large rectangle of 15cm by 3cm for the title, with its slightly smaller white rectangle (13 by 2).
Step 5
Glue each small rectangle onto the colored zigzag rectangle, and write the numbers 1 / 5 / 10 / 15 / 20. For the large rectangle, write MINI BASKETBALL!
Step 6
Draw basketball hoop supports in the same colors by creating two nested rectangles, as shown in the photo.
Step 7
Now glue the title to the top of the large sheet, and the basket supports.
Step 8
Glue the numbers onto the cups, and the cups onto the bottom of the support rectangles.
The mini basketball is ready! Now you can play, trying to throw the ball into the basket that earns the most points!
