This paper bouquet of flowers is a nice way to show her how much she means to you! Moms do so much for us all year round, so this is a chance to say a big “thank you” and let her know how much we care.
This fun activity involves a bit of cutting and sticking, which is super easy and has lots of cool perks! It helps your imagination grow and lets you come up with your own creative ideas. Plus, when you make this, you’ll learn to follow instructions, pay attention to all the little bits, and keep going until you’ve finished your lovely gift.
Grab your sheet paper, scissors, and the rest of your materials.
Step 2
Using your cups as guides, draw circles of different sizes onto the sheet paper. Aim for about three different sizes for layering.
Step 3
Carefully cut out all the circles you’ve traced from the sheets. These are going to be your flower petals.
Step 4
Take your cut-out circles and arrange them by size then glue them together, with the largest at the bottom and the smallest on top, to create layered flower shapes.
Step 5
Add your personal touch by decorating the circles with small drawings.
Step 6
Now roll up green paper squares to create the stems of the flowers.
Step 7
Carefully attach your paper flowers to the top of the stems using glue to complete your flowers.
Step 8
Now to create a vase for the flowers. Draw a circle on your large piece of sheet paper and cut out the outline, as shown in the picture to create strips.
Step 9
Gather all the strips together and tie them with string to create the vase.
Step 10
Place your flowers into the vase and just like that! You now have a lovely bouquet of everlasting flowers to give to your mother this Mother’s Day.
