Easter Learning Dice Game: A Fun DIY Activity for Kids to Learn Colours and Animals
Easter is a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time with family. So what better way to bring everyone together around the table than with a game? With this Easter game, you can play, have fun, and the little ones will even learn their colours! So, who will be the fastest? 🐰
The game to make is simple and suitable for young children. Here are the rules:
Roll the two dice: a colour and an animal will appear.
The first person to find the card that matches the two dice wins the card (example: blue die + rabbit die = the blue rabbit card).
Colour the colour circles on the first Colours dice. The other animals dice will remain white.
Step 3
Cut out the outlines of the dice.
Step 4
Fold along the lines and glue the grey tabs to assemble the dice.
Step 5
Repeat to make both dice: one colour die and one animal die.
Step 6
Colour the animal cards in the required colours. You will need one animal of each colour (purple, blue, pink, orange, yellow and green).
Step 7
Cut out all the coloured animal cards. You should now have a set of cards showing different animals in different colours.
Step 8
Cut, fold, and glue the box template to create a small storage box for your cards and dice.
Step 9
The game is ready! Take turns rolling the two dice. The first player to roll a card matching the two dice wins that card (example: blue die + rabbit die = blue rabbit card). The first player to collect five cards wins!
